Why can't I check my inbox in Hotmail?

When I try to log in this morning it sais:





You don't have an inbox...yet

Well, I look at the top and I am logged in... I can view my contacts and everything, but I am unable to view my inbox? How can this be the case... I've had the account for over 6 years now.

thank god its not just me. lol. i narrowed it down to 2 people i thought would hack it. lol

You're currently using another service for e-mail, but it's easy to sign up for Windows Live Hotmail” message when you are signed in using a non-Hotmail account to any Windows Live or MSN site and you clicked a link for Hotmail. To access your mailbox properly, make sure that you’re not currently signed in using a non-Hotmail account. If you’re being signed in automatically, sign out first then log in using your Windows Live Hotmail e-mail account. To do this:1. Go to www.msn.com


2. Click "Sign out."


3. Go to www.hotmail.com


4. Log in using your e-mail and password.I also suggest that you access your Windows Live Hotmail account directly at www.hotmail.com or http://mail.live.com instead of the http://home.live.com site.
Reply:Its probably just maintenance or just an error or bug. Your not the only one with problems. I've just passed like 4-5 questions on whats wrong with hotmail so it's probably just a bug or something that needs to be fixed or server issues.
Reply:MSN and Hotmail are having issues at the moment. They are working on it.
Reply:I just tried to sign in a couple of minutes ago and mine said the same thing. I can log in just cant check my inbox maybe they're working on it at the time.
