There is no way to know if an email was viewed in any mail system.
Some email programs have the option to request a receipt but the receiver must reply to the request. This requires that both the sending and receiving programs can both handle receipts. Yahoo online does not have that feature.
Is there a way for me to figure out if someone from Hotmail had viewed the e-mail I sent from Yahoo?
No Y! doesn't carry the "mail received ticket" for e-mails
