How do I transfer my contacts from hotmail.com?
The BEST way to transfer your address book is to use True Switch. Just go to http://www.trueswitch.com/yahoo. However, the only way to get your files (emails) from hotmail to Yahoo! Mail is to email them to yourself. Yahoo! Mail does not offer an 'import' function. However, if by 'files' you are referring to documents other than email, try uploading them to Yahoo! Briefcase located at http://briefcase.yahoo.com
Reply:go to your hotmail, then go to contacts, then copy and paste into your new account. If you don't get it, you have to use the long method. or you can have two MSN , there's 7.0 ,7.5, 8.0. then you can copy the contacts. you have to first down load one of them that you don't have
The fastest way is still to mail to everyone and ask them to add you, that way, you only have to add those that didn't add you
Reply:Sign in to the MSN Messenger. In Contacts Menu, select "Save Instant Messaging Contacts". Then sign in to some other account and select "Import Instant Messaging Contacts" and select the file you just saved. All the contacts will be added to your new list!
